Congratulations to Otakar Šprdlík for successful defense of his doctoral thesis!
Otakar Šprdlík has just defended his thesis on "Detection and Estimation of Human Movement Using Inertial Sensors: Applications in Neurology". His supervisor was Dr. Zdeněk Hurák. The three reviewers - Prof. Peter Veltink (University of Twente, Enschede, The Netherlands), Prof. Miroslav Šimandl (University of West Bohemia, Pilsen, Czech Republic) and Dr. František Hlavačka (Institute of Normal and Pathological Physiology, Slovak Academy of Sciences, Bratislava, Slovak Republic) - have agreed unanimously that Otakar has made a concrete and nice contribution to the domain of inertial estimation and detection for applications in neurology and rehabilitation. Good luck, doctor Šprdlík :-)
