Haitham Hindi: Adventures in Control and Optimization, with Career Survival Tips

Bio: Haitham Hindi received his MS and PhD from Stanford University in Electrical Engineering. After graduation he worked in several companies in Bay Area  as an optimization and control systems specialist. He worked on optimization algorithms for online pricing, advertising, and revenue management in one company, and he also worked on robotic radiation treatment devices; energy management systems; networked and hybrid control; manufacturing and transportation networks; matrix rank reduction; nonlinear control systems; particle accelerators; and disk drives in other companies.
