Comparison of building heating control

This thesis disserts upon compairing of application of various control methods for heating family houses. It describes in detail attributes of the simulation model of the house, which is designed according to a real building. It shows the way how the heating system was modeled. Then it compares level of thermal comfort and energy consumption during heating season for two heating strategies (constant temperature and decreasing temperature during the night). For both strategies there are performed simulations using three control methods: weather-compensation curve, PID and MPC controller. Finally there is performed analysis of simulation results and suitability of each controller for heating strategies is taken into consideration.
