Seale models control by PLC nets

Programmable Logical Controllers (PLC's) are a well established technology for process control. With growing complexity of process control, a need for cooperation of a number of PLC's arises. This cooperation can be organized upon a computer network which can be used also for PLC administration and process monitoring and visualization. This diploma thesis proposes a design of a PLC network. The network is designed and implemented to connect PLC's made by TECO a.s. The PLC's are complemented with an operator panel visualization and 2 visualization programs for a PC connected to the network. The network is applied to the control of laboratory models of stationary and mobile robots.
