Traction control of flame cutting machine

The diploma thesis describes the hardware design of a control unit for traction control. The control unit is based on the processor SH7727 (Renesas) working on operating system Linux. The main input/output interface is CAN Bus, realized by a stand-alone CAN controller SJA1000 (Philips Semiconductors).
This work describes processor selection, hardware design considering electromagnetic compatibility and finally CAN-driver putting into service. Work is supplemented with appendixes and a sample of measurement with oscilloscope extends the description.
