Hardware to-do:

• ask (and pay) Petr Svoboda to develop a new 4x4 (or so) array of coils but this time abandoning the modular concept. All coils on a single board. Either using a single onboard controller or connected directly to PC through DAQ card. This would help us deal with the physics of the problem without bothering simultaneously with the communication issues.

Algorithms to-do:

• single-coil experiment in which the ball is initially out of its equilibrium. Switch on the magnets so that the ball sets out toward the coil. The ball will certainly pass the center of the coil and overshoot significantly. Switch off the coil at the right time so that the ball "bounces back" in the direction of the initial position. This might be the simples possible experiment that materializes ideas about exciting the modes of the system, that is, conveying the energy in an optimal way.

Software to-do:

• iPAD as a UI. Possibly also as the controller itself.
