Power unit to control asynchronous engine in traction application

Control modules are used to control electric motor. Those modules contain power transistors. Their switching signals must be galvanic separated, thus preventing destruction of control systems. There must be also way to measure currents in power transistors. Therefore special control board for controlling three phase motor would be very useful. This board must provide galvanic separation, protect cross bar from short circuit, detection of error, measurement of current and voltage of power supply unit. This work is concerned with design and manufacturing of such board. This board will be useful for control of~linear combustion engine. It can be applied also to control asynchronous and synchronous electric motor.
