Laser projection control unit

The main subject of this diploma thesis is to design and create control unit for vector laser projection for Planetarium of Prague. The control unit has to be designed to be able to work with existing system placed in planetarium. Communication between control PC and the control unit is done by UDP protocol. One part of this thesis is design of hardware composed of embedded board based on ColdFire processor and extended with periphery used to control the projection system, especially DA converters. The next part is the control software which is programmed in C language for real time operating system eCos. The last part of this diploma thesis is simulation software of laser projection for PC using SDL library.
