Design of a sofware interface for real-time control of amicropositioning stage from PC

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to create software interface for real time control of a micropositioning stage. At ¯rst utilization of Windows XP operating system's API for real time tasks is dealt. In the next part means of extension of operating system's kernel are proposed and list of suitable hardware resources for the extension is provided. Avai- lable commercial extensions are shown. Finally, the implementation of chosen solution is described.
