Tracking of Radio Transmitter with a Sensor Network

The content of this bachelor thesis is the tracking of radio transmitter with a sensor network. This thesis contains modified implementation of open-source visualization appli- cation Octopus Dashboard. This application is written in nesC and Java languages and is determined for usage in wireless sensor networks with TinyOs operating environment. The application is used for signal strength measuring in rooms. Distances between particular sensors exceed 2 meters. Pattern recognition methods are applied on measured data for determination of the location. These methods are implemented in Matlab environment and their performance evalution is presented in the conclusion of the thesis.
