Electronic Control Unit Model Based Design

The aim of this Bachelor thesis is to create a complete model of a control algorithm, which
will be applicable to a design of electronic controller unit of an actuating device, which will
be designed using the Model Based Design method.
A Matlab Simulink model of a redundant electrohydraulic actuating device is created. The
actuating device was designed by Aero Vodochody a.s. company to control a rudder and
elevators of an airplane. Control algorithms for a redundant electronic control unit, which
controls this action device, are designed.
The behaviour of the designed algorithms is examined by a series of model simulations. Both
electronic and hydraulic system components failures are simulated in order to examine the
behaviour of the model.
