Calibration of capacitive sensor
Author: Švoma Jaroslav
The aim of this diploma thesis was to propose and to realize capacitive sensor, control and evaluate electronic of this sensor. There was proposed procedure for calibration of this sensor and experimentally verified it's functionality. The sensor is a differential capacitive position sensor with variable overlapping of electrodes. This sensor is applied in applications without direction. The sensor characteristic is influenced by parasitic phenomena. Calibration procedure was proposed with regard to parasitic phenomena. Further there was created measure procedure, which allows to evaluate position of movable element. These procedures were implemented into control microprocesor. Functionality of constructed sensor was externally verified.
