Automatic recognition of texture-less objects from a single image

In the scope of this bachelor thesis, a program Pentagram_vt capable of identifying known objects in an image or in a video was created. It is based on the method published recently by D. Damen et al. at British Machine Vision Conference. The detection is almost real time and the learning may be performed on a very small set of training images. The observations gained during implementation may be used to further improve the method. Further, a few originally not emphasized or overlooked weak points, worth of attention, have been discovered.
